Our Mission
Berkshire Educational Resources K-12 (BERK12)
brings together districts and community partners to ensure access to high-quality educational experiences across Western Massachusetts.
Our mission is to support Berkshire County school districts and educators by collaboratively offering solutions to short and long-term issues, in order to promote high quality public education, which all children deserve, regardless of background or circumstance.
Membership
Berkshire Educational Resources K12 (BERK12) is a non-partisan group of committed educators, school and civic leaders, and community members dedicated to strengthening public education in Berkshire County. Member districts partner with BERK12 in support of professional development and specific grant initiatives. Berkshire Resources for Learning and Innovation (BRLI)
The Berkshire Resources for Learning and Innovation (BRLI) is a consortium of Berkshire County school districts that began sharing their work on a learning management platform, which they had in common, in 2020/2021.
Our main goals were to ensure equitable access to high quality education, collaborate as a Berkshire education community to share resources, and develop a network of practitioners to support innovative professional learning opportunities. Our focus and scope continues to evolve to support education in our Berkshire community with a significant focus on educational technology.
